Wyberton Primary School is a friendly, family school in the village of Wyberton. It is not a very big school, it is a single form entry school, with one class in each year group. We have about 210 children on roll. We believe in working in partnership with our families to strive to give our children the best possible primary experience that we can. We have 5 core values that are very important to us and shape everything we do. We expect visitors to our school and parents to share these values with us. They are as follows:

Consideration and Respect, Pride, Trust, Creativity and Curiosity and Aspire to Achieve.

We play an important part in the lives of our young people and we are passionate about understanding and educating the whole child. Academic standards are high on our list of priorities and you can see this from our excellent SAT results and from many other examples of childrens achievements across the curriculum. However, ensuring we have happy, confident children who are ready for life both in and out of school is equally important to us. If you want to find out more about our curriculum, take a look in the Parent Information section and have a good look at all pages on this site to see the kinds of activities the children get involved in.

We are in partnership with Boston St Thomas CE Primary School. The two schools form the Great Oaks Federation and we have found this to be a very beneficial partnership for staff and for children. There have been many opportunities for staff to share expertise, widening the knowledge and understanding of teachers and children in both schools. You can visit St Thomas website to find out a bit more about that school. In addition, we have are widened our family of schools to include Little Oaks Nursery, situated on school grounds and run by the Great Oaks Governing Body.
